My name is Sarah Veronda and I am the School Psychologist for Coal City Intermediate School, Coal City Middle School, and Coal City High School. This is my 7th year in my position. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL. I completed my graduate education at National-Louis University in Skokie, IL. At that time, I earned my Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. I am currently a National Certified School Psychologist.
My role is to identify barriers to student learning whether it be academic struggles, behavioral difficulties, or social-emotional reasons, and then determine appropriate interventions.
