Technique Mixte Painting

Here is a process video of a painting I completed this past summer for my brother. It's a portrait of John Owen based on an early 19th century engraving by R. Cooper and a late 17th century engraving by Robert White. Owen lived from 1616-1683 and was called the "Prince of Puritans."

I'm excited about our new glazes from Great Lakes Clay. This bowl was dipped in Tenmoku and Sargasso.
