Coalers visit Illinois State University

It was a college visit day for 27 Coal City High School students as the  school district arranged for the students to visit the Illinois State University campus in Normal on Friday, Sept. 27.

High school counselor Erin Dransfeldt reports it was a great day and she commended the students for being respectful throughout their visit.

Fellow counselor Keith Piper added, "we got some great information and it was fun to see some CCHS alumni as well."

Another college visit is scheduled for November and will take students to the University of St. Francis campus in Joliet and the Lewis University campus in Romeoville.
