Mr. Egan's Page

Hello, my name is Marty Egan and I am the ACE Program teacher at the High School. As the ACE Program teacher, I will be teaching all core subjects as a certified Special Education Teacher. I will be collaborating with general education teachers across all subject areas to best meet the needs of all of my students. I am also the JV Football Head Coach.

 

The ACE (Advancing Character through Education) program is  in its fifth year at Coal City High School and our students have had great success! Our aim is to foster an environment of caring and support that gives every child the opportunity to flourish academically. 

 

I hold my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Illinois State University and am certified to teach Special Education from K-12. This is my second year teaching at Coal City CUSD #1! I also have previous teaching experience in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
