Welcome to Mr. Taylor's Webpage!

I am Mr. Taylor, and I am one of the science teachers here at CCHS, but mainly teach the AP, Honors, & General Chemistry courses. I started as an educator at CCHS in August of 2022, but before that I spent almost a decade in the chemical industry and try to bring all that experience with me into the classroom. I graduated from La Salle - Peru High School, received a bachelor's in chemistry from Illinois State University, and then returned to ISU for my professional educator's license. Outside of school I enjoy whitewater kayaking, camping, and any other activity that gives me an excuse to be out in nature.

I am also happy to say in August of 2023 I had the privilege to take over as the sponsor of the Science Club. Any updates guardians or the community may want to see of what the science club has been or will be up to is published on the science club's google classroom. 

 

I will upload all course materials onto Google Classroom, which students will have joined during the first week of school.
