Students in advanced algebra 2 are preparing for finals. This year, they played a review game in which students had to answer questions correctly to eliminate an ornament from an opposing team's tree. In order to win, the team had to be the last one with an ornament on the tree. Students came up with team names, themes, and even "uniforms" in order to earn more ornaments on their tree. Some of the featured teams were the Rhyming Racoons, the Christmas Coalers, the Christmas Trees!, the Minions, and the Mele Kalikimaka Mathematicians. It was a close game with the Christmas Trees! winning one round and the Mele Kalikimaka Mathematicians winning the second round.
“We had a lot of competitive fun while reviewing for our final exams,” said teacher Mrs. Cyrkiel.
