Last week in Mr. Fiske’s Art Foundations class at Coal City High School, students transformed lumps of clay into incredible 3D animals and imaginary creatures using hand-building and modeling techniques. Pinch, coils, slabs, and scoring + slipping magic are all in action!
“Watching these sculptures come to life has been amazing—each one has so much personality! So proud of their creativity, patience, and attention to detail as they learn how to turn 2D ideas into forms you can walk around and touch,” Mr. Fiske said.
