Senior members of the Coalers Soccer Team were recognized during Senior Night activities. Honored for their commitment and contributions to the program were—Jake Peters, Aidan Kenney, Kaleb Reinert, Luke Munsterman, Colton Lemmons, Mick Kelly, Dane Noffsinger, Adrian Dames, Julian Micetich, Carsen Hart, Martin Ramirez, and Colton Siron.
Jake Peters is a two year member of the Coalers Boys Soccer Team. During his time at Coal City High School he has also participated in football and is currently involved in Coaler Creations. After graduation, Jake plans to attend Joliet Junior College to finish his AIM course and take a position at a power plant. On Senior Night he was escorted by his parents, Jason and Melissa Peters.
Aidan Kenney is in his second season with the Coalers Boys Soccer Team. He previously participated in football for 2 years, and has been a member of the wrestling team. Aidan is a two-time state qualifying wrestler including a fourth place finish this past year. His 9-4 decision in the dual team finals clinched the wrestling Coalers their second state championship in the last 3 years. His future plans are to attend a 4-year university and major in engineering. Aidan was escorted by his parents, Jeremy and Jen Kenney.
Kaleb Reinert was honored on Senior Night for his four years as a Coaler Soccer player. While at Coal City High School, he’s also been a member of the boys tennis team. After graduation, he plans to attend Guilford Technical Community College in North Carolina where he will be part of the FAME program to earn his associates degree in Mechatronics. Kaleb was honored along with his parents, Jason and Alesia Reinert.
Luke Munsterman, the son of Mark and Jen Munsterman, is a four year member of the soccer program. Luke has also been a member of the Wrestling team, Coalers with Character, and Spanish Honors Society. Luke is a state qualifying wrestler and had huge victories in this past year’s dual state tournament to help the Coalers with the title. After graduation, Luke plans on attending a community college to continue his soccer career, study business, and complete an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) program to one day take over Munsterman Plumbing and HVAC Inc. Luke was escorted on Senior Night by his mom, Jen Munsterman.
Colton Lemmons is in his fourth year of soccer with the Coalers. During his high school years he has also participated in wrestling and track and field. After graduation, Colton plans on attending college to pursue a degree in computer science. On Senior Night he was accompanied by his mom, Danielle Sobesky; dad, Jason Lemmons; stepdad, William Sobesky, and grandmother, Cathy Sloyan.
Mick Kelly is in his third year with the soccer program. As a Coaler, Mick has also participated in tennis. His future plans are to attend Joliet Junior College and pursue a career in the trades. Mick was accompanied on Senior Night by his parents, Mary and Michael Gagliardo.
Dane Noffsinger has been playing soccer with the Coalers for all four years of high school. While at CCHS, Dane has also participated in basketball and been a member of National Honors Society, Student Council, and Coalers with Character. After graduation, Dane plans to attend a college or university to continue his soccer career but is undecided where at this point. On Senior Night, Dane was escorted by his parents, Mike and Brenna Noffsinger.
Adrian Dames, the son of Shawn and Joanna Dames, is a four year member of the Coaler Soccer Team. Following graduation, Adrian plans to attend Joliet Junior College to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. Adrian was honored on Senior Night along with his parents.
Julian Micetich is a four year soccer player for the Coalers. During high school, , Julian has also participated in basketball, is a two-time track and field state qualifier - including a seventh place finish in the 100M Hurdles this past year, a member of Coalers with Character, Fall Play, Spring Musicals, Math Team, Student Council - Class Secretary, Link Leaders, POPS, and Drama Club. After graduation, Julian plans to attend a four year university majoring in pre-med biology in hopes to one day become an endocrinologist. Julian was accompanied on Senior Night by his parents Jon and Juli Micetich.
Carsen Hart is a four year member of the Coaler Soccer Team. As a Coaler, Carsen has also participated in Tennis, Pickleball Cub, Coalers with Character, and Coaler Creations. After graduation, Carsen plans to continue his education.. On Senior Night, Carsen was escorted by his parents, Shane and Carissa Hart.
Martin Ramirez is in his fourth year with the Coalers Soccer Program. While at CCHS, Martin has also been a state qualifying tennis player, a member of the band, Music Honor Society, and National Honor Society. After graduation, Martin plans on attending a university to get a bachelor's degree in aviation to become a pilot. Martin was escorted on Senior Night by his parents, Noel and Crystal Ramirez.
Colton Siron is a four year Coaler Soccer player. After graduation, Colton plans on attending a four year university to major in finance. On Senior Night, Colton was escorted by his parents Casey and Janna Siron.
