Coal City Boys Golf Team stayed hot with their scores on the golf course Wednesday night, and came out on top of Reed-Custer, 169-196.
The Coalers had another season best score as a team with a 168, which is great to see on back to back evenings. Frankie Ponio had a season best score of 39, and Reed Suzberger also had a season best with a 43. Jaxon Duke recorded a 39 as well.
Also on the course for the Coalers were Cody Scheer, 47; Kory Lovell, 48, and Trevor Walker, 49.
“I am extremely proud of how dedicated and hardworking this young group of freshman and sophomores have been this season, and it is great to see it start paying off as the season nears the end,” Coach Harlan Kennell said.
