For freshmen and sophomores at Coal City High School their Wednesday, Aug. 27 Coalers Collaboration Time [CCT] focused on the dangers of vaping.
Jennifer Shell, Grundy Area Vocational Center’s health occupations program coordinator and lead instructor, joined Coal City Police Chief Mike Imhof in addressing the students on the harmful effects of vaping. Ms. Shell focused on the health risks while Chief Imhof focused on the legal side.
Assistant Principal Corey Mikula noted the school was grateful to the presenters for taking the time to educate the students.
