Kylee Kennell, a member of the class of 2025, has been named Coal City High School’s Business Student of the Year for 2024-2025. Kylee was presented the honor at the annual Scholarship Night on May 7. She has taken numerous business classes throughout her time at CCHS and has been a member and officer in the school’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. Kylee has participated in local FBLA activities, attended state leadership workshops and competed at the state level. This spring she qualified for the national competition and will be representing her school and state at the FBLA National Leadership Conference and Competition next month in California. This year’s award was handed out by business education instructor Alicia Matusiak.
