The Coal City High School Athletic Department and Soccer Team recognized Sam Sterba’s four year commitment and contributions to the Coaler Soccer Team during Senior Night on Oct. 3. Sterba is the only senior on the team this fall and his contributions to the advancement of the program have been greatly appreciated. He is also a member of the school’s Tennis Team. He was accompanied by his parents Barry and Molly Sterba. His future plans are to enlist in the US Army with the long term goal of entering the trades with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150.
