Due:
Please use the below link to connect your Google Classroom account to your Realize Account.
Due:
Use the circuit simulator to build a simple circuit. Change the resistance of the circuit to measure the effect on current and change the voltage of the battery to measure the effect on current. Use at least 10 data points each. Linearize any curved graphs. Complete the CER after you're done graphing.
Due:
Do these problems on your own sheet of paper.
ATTEMPT the last two problems. You'll need to remember Newton's 1st law to solve these. The sum of forces on an object is 0 if not accelerating (static = motionless). Also, you'll need to remember Newton's 3rd law. If A pushes/pulls on B then B pushes/pulls on A with an equal force in the opposite direction.

Due:
Watch the 3 videos about Coulomb's Law and/or read lesson 3 about Coulomb's law. After you do that (or simultaneously) fill in pages 13 and 14 in your big packet.
Due:
Use the "Lab" in this link to determine the spring constant of 2 different springs and then determine the mass of the unknown masses.
Due:
Record yourself and your partner(s) throwing a projectile. Make sure the whole path is included in the video and there is something in the video that you know the size of (You, a meter stick, a desk, etc.)
Draw a sketch of the motion of your projectile. Include the observations and calculations required in this list below. Turn this assignment in on paper.
Watch your video in slow motion and/or frame by frame.
Record the range and height (make sure to include initial height if it didn't start at the ground.
Record the time that the projectile is in the air (to the best of your ability)
Using that collected data, calculate the launch velocity with angle.

This is a paper assignment in class. Complete this on your own paper if you are absent/remote.
Due:
Attach your doc/sheet here.
Due:
Go to the Gizmos webpage and use the Force and Fan Carts Gizmo. Follow the instructions in the attached Form.
Due:
Go to the link attached here...
Click all the checkboxes except for speed. Set the friction however you'd like.
Experiment 1:
Choose 1 mass for your system (box, person, water cup, a combination, etc.). Record this value for later.
Set the applied force to 10 different forces that cause the sum of forces to not equal 0 N. Record the acceleration of the system with each force.
Plot this data with Sum of Forces on the x-axis and acceleration on the y axis.
Experiment 2:
Choose a sum of forces that you'll be using for each trial. Record this for later.
Set the mass of the system to 10 different masses by combining the various items/people. Apply the sum of force that you chose and record the acceleration for each trial.
Plot this data with mass on the x-axis and acceleration on the y axis.
Once your data is collected, linearize any curved data, and analyze your results. Write a CER to answer the question: What is the mathematical relationship between acceleration and net force as well as acceleration and mass?
Remember...
C - Claim. -The answer to your question(s)
E - Evidence - Data tables, graphs, research, etc. collected.
R - Reasoning - Explain how your collected evidence lead you to your answer. This can include scientific principles that we've already learned about, mathematical reasoning, etc.

Due:
Attempt 1-4 for next class. We still need to work on the ramp 2 body problems
Due:
Do this on your own sheet of paper. orin your notes. We'll discuss next class.
Due:
Take the practice test and check your answers (It will grade itself when you submit).
You'll have time to work on this in class if you want it, but you can start on this anytime.
