CLUBS & ACTIVITIES:

  • This week is Love is Love Week sponsored by Coal City High School’s GSA or Gender and Sexualities Alliance. Show your Coaler Pride by supporting all Coalers.

Being an ally means helping to create a supportive environment for others to be themselves. How can you be an ally? Add your pronouns to your email signature or share your pronouns when introducing yourself to new friends or colleagues. If you hear an anti-LGBTQ+ comment or joke, speak up and explain why such comments or jokes are harmful and offensive. You can even physically show your support by wearing an LGBTQ+ alley button, or adding a rainbow sticker on your name badge at work. It is all about creating a place where others feel comfortable being who they are.

Be a Coaler who is proud of your actions.
