Madeline Sandgren is in her first year as the Colorguard and Varsity Winterguard coach for Coal City High School. Madeline is a 2014 graduate of Morris Community High School, where she began her guard journey. There, she performed for her last two years of high school, and went on to become an assistant coach for Morris for two more years. Madeline graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Aurora University in 2020 and works as a mental health therapist during the day. Madeline loves teaching her students and hopes they feel the same joy while performing as she did many years ago!
