Coalers host Childhood Cancer Awareness Night

The Coalers Volleyball Program hosted its 10th Annual Childhood Cancer Awareness/Megan Bugg Night on Monday, Sept. 15. The annual event held during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month serves to honor Megan Bugg’s dream to end childhood cancer through advocacy and research. Megan was a big fan of Coaler Volleyball and the Coalers big fans of Megan and her mission. Through fundraising events including the annual Megan Bugg Night and the annual 5K Run/Walk held last weekend in Coal City, the Megan’s Mission Foundation has raised well over $2 million to support the ongoing work to find cures for childhood cancers. Megan’s dad, Dr. Kent Bugg joined the Coalers for this year’s event.
